Last updated: 13 October 2026

In short: This is an educational blog for nursing students and nurses. We do not sell your personal information, we do not ask for patient or clinical records, and we collect very little ourselves. Most technical data is handled by Google (which hosts this blog on Blogger) and by advertising or analytics services described below. You can contact us at any time about your privacy.

1. Who we are

This website, POST RN BSN Nursing Resources (https://postrnbsn.blogspot.com/), provides educational information for Post-RN BSN students, registered nurses and other readers interested in nursing education, mainly in Pakistan. It is operated by POST RN BSN Nursing Resources, we are responsible for the personal information described in this policy for the purposes of this website ("we", "us").

The website is hosted on Google's Blogger platform. Google acts independently for the information it processes to run Blogger, and has its own privacy policy (see section 4).

Visitors come from Pakistan, the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area and elsewhere. We aim to give every visitor the same clear information, and we apply the principles of the UK GDPR and EU GDPR (fairness, transparency, data minimisation and respect for your rights) to all visitors, whether or not those laws strictly apply to them. For visitors in Pakistan, we also act in line with applicable Pakistani law, including the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016.

4. Blogger and Google services

Blogger is operated by Google. Google may process information about visits, comments, security and the operation of its services under its own policies, which we do not control. Please read:

5. Cookies and consent

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Some are needed for the site to work; others are used to measure traffic or to show and measure advertisements.

For visitors in the UK, the European Economic Area and Switzerland, non-essential cookies for advertising or analytics are used only after you give consent through the consent notice shown on this site. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the privacy or cookie settings option where provided, or by clearing cookies in your browser.

Everyone can also control cookies through browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect parts of the site. Guidance for UK readers is available from the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk.

6. Advertising (Google AdSense)

This website may display advertisements through Google AdSense or similar advertising partners. When ads are shown, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see them, personalise them (where permitted) and measure their performance. They may process your IP address, browser information, cookie identifiers and activity on the site.

We do not control which ads Google shows and do not endorse advertised products or services.

7. Analytics

We use Blogger's built-in statistics and may use Google Analytics to understand which pages are read and how visitors find us, so that we can improve our educational content. This produces aggregated information such as page views, traffic sources, approximate location (country or city level) and device type. Where required, analytics cookies are used only with your consent.

8. Comments and public content

Comments are public, may appear in search engines, and may be seen by anyone. Do not include private email addresses, phone numbers, patient details or anything you do not want to be public. We may remove comments that are spam, abusive, misleading, off-topic, or that disclose confidential or patient information. To ask us to remove or edit your own comment, contact us using section 16.

9. Links and embedded content

Our posts link to and may embed content from other websites, such as universities, nursing colleges, the Pakistan Nursing and Midwifery Council (PNMC), government bodies, research sources and video platforms. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and embedded content (for example a YouTube video) may set cookies when it loads. We are not responsible for third-party sites. Please read their policies before giving them personal information.

10. Sharing and international transfers

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that operate this blog (Google/Blogger and the advertising or analytics providers in sections 6 and 7), where the law requires it, or to protect the site and its readers from abuse.

These providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States. They are responsible for the safeguards required for their own processing and transfers; see their privacy policies.

11. How long we keep information

  • Comments: kept until the comment or post is deleted.
  • Emails and messages: kept only as long as needed to deal with your request and any follow-up, normally no more than12 months.
  • Technical, advertising and analytics data: kept by Google and the relevant providers under their own retention policies.

12. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the blog account and any messages we receive. However, no website or internet transmission is completely secure, and many security measures are managed by the platforms we use. Please do not send passwords, patient records or other sensitive information to us.

13. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
  • correct or delete it;
  • restrict our use of it or object to it;
  • provide it in a portable format; and
  • withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent (this does not affect earlier lawful use).

To use these rights, contact us using section 16. We may need to verify your identity first and will reply within one month where UK/EU law applies. Some rights are limited by law. Much of the technical data about your visits is held by Google, so you may also need to contact Google directly.

Complaints: you can complain to your local data protection authority. In the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). EU residents can contact the authority in their country. We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first. In Pakistan, readers can also raise privacy-related complaints with the relevant authorities, such as the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority or the Federal Investigation Agency's cybercrime unit.

14. Children

This blog is written for adult nursing students and professionals. It is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in EU countries that set a higher age for digital consent), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you think a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

15. Changes to this policy

We will update this page if our website, advertising or analytics set-up, or the law changes, and will change the "Last updated" date at the top. Please check back occasionally.
