COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Post RN BSN Nursing Course Syllabus of FC&G (Fundamentals of Counseling and Guidance First) placed in First Year Second Semester, is design to develop skills necessary to provide personal support to student nurses, assist/ support them to clarify issues and to guide them accordingly.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

1.    By the end of the course the BSc Nursing students will be able to:

1.              Describe the different Models and techniques of Counseling

2.              Conduct and discuss a self-awareness exercise

3.              Discuss counseling problems including difficult situations (teaching, Supervision and evaluation)

4.              Discuss issues/ problems that student’s nurses seek Counseling
